Benefit auction supporting Doctors without Borders with works by members of the Association of Visual Artists Vienna Secession

Over ninety members of the Association of Visual Artists Vienna Secession each gifted a work for the benefit auction held in cooperation with the Dorotheum. The total proceeds of €130,000 will be donated in their entirety to Doctors without Borders.

The board of the Association of Visual Artists Vienna Secession—Ramesch Daha (president), Ricarda Denzer, Lone Haugaard Madsen, Barbara Kapusta, Wilfried Kühn, Ulrike Müller, Nick Oberthaler, Michael Part, Lisl Ponger, Axel Stockburger, Sophie Thun, Anna Witt, Jun Yang—would like to use this opportunity to thank all members for their gifts:

“We are overwhelmed by the selflessness of everyone involved in this initiative. We are grateful, first and foremost, to all members of the Secession who made the auction possible with their gifts and contributed to the positive outcome. We would also like to thank the Dorotheum for generously agreeing to hold the online auction free of charge.”

Doctors without Borders is active in over seventy countries all over the world and has been in Ukraine since 1999. We currently have teams on the ground in Ukraine as well as in neighboring countries—from Poland and Moldova to Russia and Belarus. Making sure people have access to medical care again and taking care of patients with severe injuries is our absolute focus right now. And we are in a race against time.

With your support, you enable us to send teams bringing essential relief supplies and medications directly to Ukraine and other crisis zones.
