Individually arranged guided tours

Our survey tours introduce you to our current exhibitions and familiarize you with the Secession’s building, the artists’ association, and Gustav Klimt’s Beethoven Frieze and its history.

Different eyes see different things…

Senior citizens and children experience contemporary art together.

 

This program is designed for seniors interested in learning to see art with the fresh eyes of young people and schools that want to harness the educational potential of intergenerational dialogue.

 

A project launched in collaboration with mumok. Museum moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig Wien.

For an individual tour of the Secession and its exterior: includes information on the building’s history and architecture as well as interesting details about the artists’ association, the Secession’s work as an exhibition space for international contemporary art, and Gustav Klimt’s Beethoven Frieze.

 

In German, English, French, Italian, Polish, Serbian, Spanish, Turkish.

€ 3,00 (free of charge for holders of the Vienna City Card)

 

The new Serbian, Turkish and Polish production was supported by the Arbeiterkammer Wien.

/ÖGS video guide

From March 2024, a mobile video guide in Austrian Sign Language (ÖGS) will be available to accompany you on a tour of the Secession. At five stations, visitors can learn interesting facts in ÖGS about the architecture and history, the artists' association, the exhibition program and the Beethoven Frieze. A rental tablet is available at the ticket desk, and the video guide can also be accessed and played on all mobile devices such as personal smartphones at designated stations using a QR code.
