Pancake and Transcience

Food and music are meeting not only in pleasure, but also in transience. With this project, Billy Roisz and dieb13 are continuing the idea of a cooking show they performed together with Leo Riegler for the Vienna Jazzwerkstatt 2017 ('Frequenzpalatschinken') - cooking video stills, dj-ing culinary delights and eat art together with their audience.

The patterns, which are generated by pure sine waves, sent directly to an analogue television and used as a video signal, reappear on the plate as color-coded pancake batter. Sounding video art for the stomach, plus ear candy from records whose shape undeniably resembles that of pancakes.
